Frequently asked questions.

Offering warmth, wisdom, and nourishment to postpartum mothers throughout Indiana and Kentucky.

  • Holistic postpartum care focuses on nurturing the mother’s physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being during the transformative time after childbirth. I blend evidence-based medical practices with natural healing methods, such as herbal remedies, ancestral wisdom, and personalized emotional support, to create a healing plan that honors the whole person, not just the body.

  • If you are seeking a compassionate, personalized approach to your postpartum care—one that combines modern medical knowledge with holistic healing practices—my services may be a great fit for you. Whether you need physical recovery, emotional support, or guidance with lactation and bonding, I tailor each plan to meet your unique needs.

  • I offer a range of services, including physical healing support, emotional and spiritual guidance, herbal consultations, lactation support, and nourishment. Each service is designed to support you as you navigate the sacred transition into motherhood, empowering you with the tools and care you need to heal and thrive.

  •  The length of care depends on your specific needs and preferences. I offer both short-term support to help you through the immediate postpartum phase and longer-term care to ensure you feel nourished and supported as you adjust to motherhood. We can create a plan that aligns with your goals, whether you need a few weeks of care or ongoing support.

  • Ideally, postpartum care begins before your baby arrives. I recommend starting care during pregnancy to lay the foundation for a smooth transition into motherhood. This early support can help you prepare physically, emotionally, and spiritually for the changes ahead. By beginning care before birth, we can address any concerns, create a plan, and ensure you're well-equipped for the postpartum period, allowing for a smoother, more supported experience after childbirth.

As part of my approach, I like to schedule a home visit before birth to meet with you and any family members who will be involved in your care. This allows me to familiarize myself with your home environment, your kitchen, and any other details that will help me better support you during your postpartum journey. It also offers an opportunity to discuss your needs, expectations, and any specific areas of support you may need.

  • I primarily serve mothers in the Indianapolis area, including Bargersville, Greenwood, Fishers, Carmel, and Zionsville; Northwest Indiana (Lake, Porter, Newton, and Jasper counties); and Southern Indiana, including the areas surrounding Louisville, KY.

  • I offer a range of personalized services designed to support you during your postpartum journey. Because each family’s needs are unique, I prefer to have a conversation to create a care plan tailored to you. Please reach out to schedule a consultation, where we can discuss your goals, expectations, and any budget considerations.

  • Currently, my focus is on postpartum care, but I am deeply connected to the sacred transition from maiden to mother. I am in the process of exploring how I might incorporate birth support into my practice in the future, guided by my own ongoing studies and ancestral wisdom.
